Jason "Jay" Irizarry has been involved in the beer and wine business for over a decade. Jason started working in the restaurant industry, and through his experiences in management and working behind the bar, he developed a passion for beer. Jason opened his own local brewery, Chocolate City Beer, in DC, in 2011.
While tough times unfortunately lead to the closure of his brewery, Jay was still very much interested in the booming craft beer industry. He joined the Kysela Pere et Fils team in 2015, where he is eager to use his sales skills and grow his knowledge of beer and fine wines. Jay is a father of two, and when he's not working, he enjoys spending time in West Virginia at his cabin with his family, or taking in the sights and sounds of Washington, DC.
