2009 Morambro Creek, Padthaway, Shiraz 12/750ml "Garnet
black color. Rich melted toffee, strawberry-raspberry pie,
watermelon gelato, honeycomb, and clay aromas are inviting
with a satiny fruity medium-to-full body and a long, tangy
pomegranate, tomato, praline, sour cherry, and passionfruit
finish. A sensationally delicious shiraz that hits all of the
high notes with complexity, power and finesse." -

2008 Morambro Creek, Padthaway, Shiraz 12/750ml "Dark
fruit colour. Winemaker used beautiful fruit for this one.
Plum, vanilla and creamy smooth with its fine tannins.
Chocolate and blackberries on the palate. A very well produced
fruit driven wine that is balanced perfectly." -

2007 Morambro Creek, Padthaway, Shiraz 12/750ml
"Has four gold medals awarded in Sydney, London, San Francisco
and NZ, and indeed it is flashy, show style, with masses of
blackberry and plum fruit, lots of American oak and plenty of
tannins. I'm not disposed to spoil the party. Screwcap." -
James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2011, 94 pts
"Inky ruby. Spicy, strongly perfumed bouquet of red
berries, cherry preserves, cracked pepper and fresh flowers.
Medium-bodied, liqueur-like red and dark berry flavors are
sharply focused, with nervy minerality adding grip. Clings
impressively on the finish, with the juicy berry qualities
repeating."
- International Wine Cellar (July/Aug 2008), 90 pts
"The
purple-colored 2007 Morambro Creek Shiraz delivers a perfume
of violets, pepper, black cherry, and blueberry.
Medium-bodied, on the palate mineral notes and savory black
fruits emerge leading to a fruit-filled finish. This tasty
Shiraz will evolve for 1-2 years and drink well from 2011 to
2019." -
Wine Advocate (Dec. 09),

"This
is from Padthaway on South Australia's Limestone Coast, on of
our most under-rated shiraz regions. A show gold medalist, it
has layers of black fruit, oak and tannins. It's rich and
full-bodied with bright flavours and a spicy edge. A good
match to roast beef." - The Daily Telegraph -

"The purple-colored 2007
Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 35% new French barriques. It
exhibits an already complex aromatic array of eucalyptus/mint,
cedar, spice box, black currant and blackberry. On the palate
it has excellent depth, plenty of savory fruit, ripe tannin,
and a lengthy finish. It will evolve for another 2-3 years and
provide pleasure from 2010 to 2018. "

"Opaque purple.
Jammy boysenberry and cherry liqueur on the nose. Fat and
sweet, offering supple dark berry preserve flavors, no
apparent tannins and a hint of succulent herbs. Offers plenty
of deep, sweet fruit and a fairly persistent finish. "

2004
Morambro Creek,
Padthaway, Chardonnay 12/750ml
Winemaking at Morambro Creek is very
traditional and labor intensive. Whole bunches are placed
immediately in the press for extraction of juice and removal
from skins. The juice is clarified in temperature-controlled
stainless steel, before being fermented, stabilized and
bottled in order to retain and exhibit the character of the
vineyard's fruit.
The 2004 harvest was a moderate and mild growing season. Fruit
was under no disease pressure. Vintage staff appreciated a
well paced picking season with low crop yields. Varietal
characters were very strong and overall assessment was
extremely high.
Pale yellow. Quite intense citrus/melon fruit aromas layered
with subtle oak. Long, creamy palate generous with flavor,
length and texture. Persistent acid structure on finish.
