The Estate
Domaine Saint Lannes is owned by Michel and Evelyne Duffour and is located in Lagraulet du Gers, 130 Km South of Bordeaux not far from Eauze and Condom, the home of Armagnac.

The Vineyard 
The soil is a mix of clay and limestone. The age of the vines is 15 years on average. The yield is 50 hl/ha and the production is 100,000 bottles per year.
The continental climate ensures optimum ripening of the grapes.

Floc de Gascogne is an aperitif resuling from the blend of Gascogny grapes and Armagnac. The Floc de Gascogne exhibits fruity aromas (citrus) and finesse from the Colombard, freshness from the Ugni-Blanc with dried fruit aromas, and fruity fullness from the Gros Manseng.

1982 Armagnac, Domaine Saint Lannes 6/750 ml
Armagnac is the oldest French eau-de vie, produced in the South West of France, in the heart of Gascogny.  The AOC was created in 1936, but the first known distillation was in 1411 and first commercial activity involving Armagnac was registered in 1414. Armagnac is produced by distilling white wine and aging it for many years in oak barrels.
A shiny, golden color.
Fruity aromas of quince, plum, orange with floral scents and notes of vanilla, spice. Subtle, warm rich and well structured.
