Salmon-pink color, clear and brilliant. The nose is fruity and spicy, reminiscent of wild strawberry and fine Provencal spices. The palate is full, well-balanced and fruity, with a long, fresh finish. A beautiful and delicate rosé.
"The 2020 Cotes du Rhone—formerly released under the Reserve label—delivers plenty of raspberry, cherry and strawberry fruit on the nose and palate. Medium to full-bodied, it's supple, silky and immensely pleasurable, just good, solid fruit-driven fun in a glass. It should be available at a street price of around $15, making it a terrific deal."

"Unusually low in acidity, this rosé gave off a first impression of softness rather than the racy refreshment we tend to expect from this type of wine. But the second impression quickly took over, then the third and so on, as a fruit basket of flavors revealed itself. My palate seemed to be strolling through a Provençal hill town on market day, drinking in the sights, smells and savors of fresh strawberries, raspberries and wildflowers. ABV: 13 percent. - Dave McIntyre"

"The 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Rosé reveals a light, Provençal color as well as notes of white peach, citrus, and tangerines. It shows a touch of salty minerality on the finish, is light and quaffable, and beautifully balanced. In short, it's a terrific Provençal style rosé to drink over the coming summer months."

"Light pink in color, the 2014 Cotes du Rhone Rose Reserve is a terrific effort that offers lots of strawberry, peach and cherry blossom aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, supple and beautifully textured, yet with good acidity, it shows the more fruity, forward nature of the 2014 vintage perfectly. It represents a fabulous value in rose, should be bought by the case, and enjoyed over the coming 6-12 months. - Jeb Dunnuck"

"One of my favorite estates in Châteauneuf du Pape (an area now being brilliantly covered by my colleague Jeb Dunnuck), Domaine Grand Veneur is internationally recognized for their fabulous Châteauneuf du Papes, but they also produce some terrific values. The estate wines are sold under the Grand Veneur label, but they have also started a négociant business under the name Alain Jaume. Those wines have been very promising as well.
Lovers of rosé should check out the blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Cinsault, the 2013 Côtes du Rhône Rosé Réserve. This crisp, flinty rosé possesses strawberry and cranberry notes intermixed with a hint of watermelons, and a light-bodied mouthfeel. Drink now. - Robert Parker"

"(60% grenache, 20% syrah and 20% cinsault): Light orange. Lively aromas of raspberry, tangerine and fresh flowers, with a peppery nuance adding vibrancy. Dry and focused on the palate, offering tangy red fruit and citrus zest flavors that spread out with air. Shows good lift and vivacity on the nervy finish, which features a hint of bitter cherry skin."
