Rustic cider is traditional cider, crafted from the best cider apple varietals of the region including York, Stayman Winesap, Jonathan, and other heirlooms. Created with a sense of place and terroir from seasonal growing conditions and native microflora, rustic cider is fermented in raw form with blends of native and cultured yeasts, processed without filtration or chemical additives, and aged on lees in barrels for at least six months.
20 Barrel blend of York Imperial, Jonathan, Stayman Winesap & Goldrush Varietals. Extended dry hopped for 3 weeks with MD grown cascade hops to bring out more earthy and grassy characteristics. Bottle conditioned with MD Wildflower honey.
Hopvine combines wonderful grassy, floral hop aromas and minimal bitterness with the complexity of rustic cider. Gluten free, vegan.
