2018 Clos Solene Hommage Blanc - 92 PTS - WA

wa92"The 2018 Hommage Blanc, a blend of 75% Roussanne and 25% Viognier, has restrained aromas of poached pear, green and yellow apples, baker’s yeast, delicate white blossoms, wax and quince with a mineral, crushed rock streak. The palate is light to medium-bodied and lightly rounded in the mouth with expertly restrained fruits and juicy freshness, finishing long and textured. - Erin BROOKS"

2018 Clos Solene Hommage Blanc - 93 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"Limpid chartreuse-tinged straw. Incisive aromas of ripe citrus and orchard fruits, ginger and pungent flowers are complemented by hints of dusty minerals and fennel. Juicy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering fresh pear, Meyer lemon and succulent herb flavors that show sharp delineation and mineral drive. The citrus fruit and floral notes recur on the vibrant finish, which hangs on with tight focus and strong tenacity. - Josh Raynolds"

2018 Clos Solene Hommage Blanc - 93+ PTS - JD

jeb dunnuck logo 250"The flagship white, the 2018 Hommage Blanc is a deeper, richer white based on 75% Roussanne and 25% Viognier that was brought up in 30% new French oak. Lots of white peach, honeysuckle, orange blossom, and hints of citrus all emerge from the glass, and it offers medium to full body, hints of spice and brioche, a rounded, supple texture, and outstanding length. It's going to shine on the dinner table. I expect it to put on weight with a year in bottle and keep for over a decade."

2019 Clos Solene Hommage Blanc - 93 PTS - JD

jeb dunnuck logo 250"Notes of spiced pears and citrus emerge from the 2019 Hommage Blanc, which is beautifully balanced and has a juicy, elegant texture, good richness, and a clean finish. Drink this elegant yet concentrated white over the coming 3-4 years or so. It might even keep longer."
