2017 Palacio de Fefiñanes Albarino III Ano - 94 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"Pale yellow. An impressively complex, assertively perfumed bouquet evokes fresh orchard and citrus fruits, pungent flowers, ginger and smoky minerals. Shows outstanding depth but comes off lithe, offering sappy pear, Meyer lemon, nectarine and orange pith flavors braced by a core of juicy acidity. The mineral and floral notes drive a strikingly long, penetrating finish that echoes the pear and orange notes. - Josh Raynolds"

2018 Palacio de Fefiñanes Albarino III Ano - 92 PTS - WA

wa92"The 2018 Albariño de Fefiñanes III Año fermented in stainless steel, where it matured with the lees for seven months and then was bottled in its third year (hence the name). It has developed some aromatic complexity and shows moderate alcohol (13%) and ripeness, and the palate is a bit austere, quite serious. 7,200 bottles were filled in May 2021. - Luis Gutiérrez"

2019 Palacio de Fefiñanes Albarino III Ano - 97 PTS - TA

tim atkin logo 250"It's almost a crime to drink this incredible wine young, such is its proven, almost Riesling-like ability to age in bottle. Bottled late after eight months on lees and a further two years in tank, it's a focused, structured, mineral-edged white with notes of citrus and blackcurrant leaf and a racy, stony finish. Val do Salnés Albariño at its chiselled best. 2022-32"
