2013 Tiza Malbec - 88 PTS - WA

Wine Advocate 88This large winery in Mendoza, Argentina makes numerous wines under the Maipe, Chakana and Cueva de las Manos labels. Almost all of them represent good values. The deep ruby/purple-tinged 2013 Tiza Malbec from Mendoza was aged in French oak for 12 months. A custom cuvée made specifically for importer Fran Kysela, it exhibits deep mulberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with notions of white chocolate, espresso and licorice. Medium-bodied and dense with loads of fruit and character, it can be enjoyed over the next several years. - Robert Parker"
