Chartron et Trebuchet Montagny 1er Cru Les Bouchots
Maison Chartron et Trebuchet
France - Burgundy - Montagny 1er Cru

At the southern tip of the Côte Chalonnaise, 4 villages (Buxy, Montagny-lès-Buxy, Jully-lès-Buxy and St. Vallerin) share the appellation Montagny, which produces only white wines. The Climat called "Les Bouchots" means "Bushes" and refers to the clearing of the land.

Bright yellow color with green hues. A complex and expressive nose of white flowers, underlined by some lime notes. The palate is ample, well-balanced with aromatic notes of citrus fruits and honeysuckle. A mineral and long finish.

Traditionnal vinification. The grapes are pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery in pneumatic presses. Fermentation partly in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks at 16°C and partly in oak barrels. The wine is then aged for 10 months. The wine aged in oak barrels is then assembled with the wine in stainless steel vats.

Ideal as an aperitif. It also pairs well with white meat and sauce.
