Around 85% of the grapes for this wine were sourced from Nitida farm itself, with the balance coming from the neighboring farms, to bring more complexity to this example of Durbanville terroir.
A dazzling dance of nectarine, pawpaw and pink fleshy guava envelops the palate, as hints of orange orchid and white pepper spice swoop in for the finale.
The zesty citrus and floral notes inspire a pairing of pan seared scallops, served with lemon caper sauce.
"Etienne Louw uses grapes from a neighbouring farm as well as the Nitida estate to make this just off-dry, passion fruity Sauvignon Blanc that has the sea breeze freshness of Durbanville, some cut grass top notes and mineral finish. 2021-23"

"Right up there with the very best-value Sauvignon Blancs in the country, Danie Keulder's white includes 6% Semillon and is a pure, scented expression of Durbanville at its best. Kiwi fruit and gooseberry flavours are supported by tangy acidity and a herbal twist. 2020-23"

"Excellent value at under R100, this has a lot of flavour and complexity for a wine at this price. Sappy, nettley and fresh, with notes of fresh asparagus and lemongrass and a crunchy, mouth-watering finish."
