A nose of citrus and candied lemon characterizes the Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "embazees" 2013. These flavors appear again on the palate with notes of almond paste, honey and vanilla. An ample and generous wine with a nice mineral finish.
Shellfish, fish, goat cheese.
"Toasted hazelnut, fresh cream and lemon create a promising nose on this wine. These notions continue on a buffered, textured palate, adding ripe Mirabelle and lemon brightness that bring lasting freshness and verve. - Anne KREBIEHL MW"

"This offers a tight texture, toast and spice flavors, and intense juicy acidity. With a firm structure and concentration, it has potential for long-term aging. The yellow fruits are beginning to open up while the more citric character is already giving the wine great freshness. Drink from 2018.
