San Elias is produced from 100% Merlot grown in Central Valley, Chile. An intense ruby red color, soft, rich and concentrated with juicy plum, red cherries and blackberry fruits, balanced acidity, soft tannins and a velvety texture.
After the wine was blended, a soft clarification, cold stabilization and a filtration were done. During the fermentation, the wine was pumped over four times a day and then remained for two weeks on the mash. Complete malolactic fermentation. When bottling, an online filtration was done through a plate and a membrane filter to assure microbiological stability.
