A classic Chardonnay that leans more towards a bright, more acid-driven style. They aimed to create a wine that is balanced, hence the 50/50 split of stainless steel and neutral oak. The stainless portion provides brighter aromatics, while the neutral oak gives more depth and texture. They age the oak portion on lees, which gets stirred once every two weeks. The goal is to balance the two vessels’ approach to creating an interesting, approachable Chardonnay.
