Chartron et Trebuchet Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is a crisp and clean Chardonnay that offers a rich and intense bouquet of fresh citrus fruits and white flowers. The mouth is round, ample and powerful. The rich and rounded palate is expressive and voluptuous with a mineral character and good acidity. A long finish. Delicious.
Chartrons et Trebuchet Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is a perfect match with cooked oysters or fish in sauce, white meats (veal, poultry), sushi, goat cheese, blue cheese and Comté.
"In this wine, earthen notes of smoke and gunflint are pronounced initially but dissipate with aeration, allowing yellow-cherry and grapefruit flavors to announce themselves brightly. Full bodied and concentrated, it's a solidly built Chablis reflective of a hot vintage. Bright tangerine acidity and a touch of white-pepper spice lend freshness on the finish. Approachable young, the wine should hold through 2030. - ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA"

"Creamy yeast on this wine's nose is pervaded by bright lemon zestiness. The palate follows with intensity that also holds notions of bruised apple and citrus pith. This wine is concentrated, fresh and broadens out towards the lemony finish. - ANNE KREBIEHL MW"

"Offers an appealing mix of rich texture and vibrant acidity, setting the stage for the apple, lemon and flint notes. This is balanced and graceful, leaving a fine aftertaste of citrus and stone. Drink now through 2020. 500 cases made. –BS"

"This is an excellent premier cru, showing lemon citrus and chalky mineral aromas and flavors. It’s quite simply a beautifully balanced, delicious Chardonnay. And it pairs superbly with roast chicken."
