The III Año shows all the expressiveness of the Albariño grape, with full nose of mature fruit and a mineral character. Complex and meaty with firm structure in the mouth, it promises a splendid evolution which will favor a long life for this elegant wine with personality. A brassy yellow color, but with no sign of oxidation. Great nose, dense and lemony with apple and exotic fruits, plus a hint of dry herbs & parrafin/diesel. The palate's rich and thick with crisp acidity with citrus (lemon/grapefruit), apple and mango. Excellent length and a pleasant, refreshing finish.

"Lurid yellow color. Highly perfumed, mineral-accented aromas of peach and pear nectar, melon and tangerine, along with a building floral overtone. Juicy and densely packed, displaying a deft interplay of power and delicacy to its orchard and pit fruit flavors. Picks up smoky lees and quinine nuances with air that carry through an impressively long finish that echoes the peach and floral notes. - Josh Raynolds"

"Brilliant yellow. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet displays Meyer lemon, pear, honey and chamomile scents, lifted by a smoky mineral topnote and a hint of ginger. Palate-staining, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit flavors show excellent focus and depth, and a subtle hint of iodine emerges slowly. Emphatically stony and floral on the long, focused finish, which leaves a suggestion of orange pith behind. - Josh Raynolds"

"The 2013 Albariño de Fefiñanes III Año, bottled in its third year and hence the name, had notes of hay and straw, floral aromas and clean fruit. It had very good intensity and balance, with the lees providing volume to balance the acidity of the year. It finishes with a very long aftertaste, lifted by the granite mineral sensation. 6,062 bottles were filled in February 2016. - Luis Gutiérrez"

"Much better was the 2012 Albariño de Fefiñanes III Año, a wine from a warm, ripe vintage. It aged in contact with the lees with bâttonage for almost three years, hence its name. The nose combines freshly cut grass, musky apple and some spices and smoky/leesy sensations. The palate is fuller than any of the 2013s tasted next to it, with ripe flavors of yellow fruit and good balance."

"Light-gold. Intense mineral-accented aromas of pear skin, tangerine and honeysuckle, with hints of vanilla and ginger emerging slowly. Taut and sharply focused on entry, then fleshier in the middle, offering sappy citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a touch of smokiness. Mineral and pear qualities dominate the long, lively, subtly sweet finish. This wine was aged in used French and American oak barrels for five months. - Josh Raynolds"

"Light yellow-gold. Powerful pear and nectarine aromas are brightened by chalky minerals and deepened by hints of smoky lees and iodine. Supple orchard fruit and Meyer flavors stain the palate, picking up bitter citrus zest and quinine qualities with air. Turns firmer and more minerally as it opens in the glass, finishing with superb lift and smoky persistence. This wine was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for three years, hence the name."

"This 100% Albarino is a selection of the best fruit and the best tank. Medium dark straw in color, it reveals a spicy late harvest character with notes of apricot and honey. Lush and deep, it’s a dry wine with the rich flavors and unctuousness of a sweet one, finishing with incredible persistence and distinct mineral notes. Aged for three years on the lees in steel tanks, this 2009 vintage illustrate how Albariño’s flavors mature and and deepen with some bottle age. "

"(aged for three years on its lees in stainless steel): Bright gold. Citrus zest, fresh fig, smoky minerals and honey on the nose. Brisk, tactile and gripping, with noteworthy energy to its flavors of lemon curd, pear, mineral and sweet butter. Finishes chewy, fresh and very long, with resonating mineral and floral notes. - JR"

"The 2009 Albarino de Fefinanes III Ano has a seductive, complex bouquet with passion fruit, hints of apple blossom and a papaya that is beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with hints of tangerine on the entry. It fans out with orange zest, even a suggestion of marmalade, with great precision towards the finish. This is outstanding. Drink now-2020."
