"Red cherries laced with crushed allspice and cloves also benefit from dried violets, graphite and loamy soil on the nose of this rare Pinot from Paso. The palate is not quite so boisterous but quite good still, with a bit of concentrated plum juice, Bing cherries, raspberry and a tinge of sagebrush throughout. - Matt Kettmann"

"Vivid ruby. A perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red and dark berries, potpourri and mocha. Coats the palate with intense black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors, with a spicecake nuance emerging with air. This rich but lithe wine finishes with very good clarity, an echo of sweet dark fruit and smooth tannins. - Josh Raynolds"

"Offers a ripe, juicy core of vivid blackberry, wild berry, licorice and cedar notes, with lively acidity and fine-grained tannins that let the flavors glide through. Drink now. 200 cases made. –JL"
