Once pressed, the juice undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel drums and then allowed to age in neutral French oak for 6 months. The vineyard was planted in 1973, and is located in the high desert of Washington state. Harvest was September 30, at 21.5 brix and 3.1pH.
