Michael Myers who joins Kysela Père et Fils as the Florida Statewide Sales Manager brings 29 years of wine supplier experience and 16 years of culinary and hotel restaurant management experience to the table. A graduate of Johnson and Wales, Providence, RI with an A.S. in Culinary Arts ‘83 and a B.S. in Hospitality Management ‘85. In his last 2 years, he was Fellowship Instructor.

Upon graduation he started at the Hyatt Orlando in the Management Training Program focusing on Room Service, Convention Services and Beverage Management. Four years later, he was promoted to Banquet Director and Hyatt Regency Hilton Head for 1 year. In 1989, he joined the opening team of the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. After 17 months, this hotel became a 5 Star 5 Diamond Hotel. He specialized in Room Service (a pivotal role in 5 Star 5 Diamond accreditation) and Beverage Management and wrote his first Wine Spectator Grand Award Wine list.

In 1993, J&W asked him to be the Director of Purchase for the N Miami location, and he taught various culinary classes. In 1996, he became the F&B director of the Riverside Hotel in Ft Lauderdale and wrote a second Wine Spectator Grand Award Wine list. In 1997, he jumped into the wine business working for Jim “No Socks” Knox with Cellarbration Marketing and represented brands like Rombauer, the Joseph Drouhin portfolio, and Saintsbury winery.

In 1998, he joined Pasternak Wine Imports and eventually ran 5 states (FL, GA, TN, AL, SC). They represented Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Château Lafite-Rothschild, Carruades de Lafite, Château Duhart-Milon, Château L’Evangile, Château Reiussec and Moueix (Bordeaux, France), Lucien Albrecht (Alsace), Caro and Gascon (Argentina), Los Vascos (Chile), Campo Viejo, Marques de Grinon, Marques de Monistral, Berberana and Pazo de Villarei (Spain), Tyrrell’s (Australia), Goldwater Estate and Matariki (New Zealand) and Bersano (Italy). Calling on Atlanta Wholesale Wine, SGWS, Best Brands, and International Wines.

In 2004, he joined Billington Imports and eventually ran 6 states (FL, GA, TN, AL, MS, SC) representing brands including Nicolas Catena, Alamos and Felipe Rutini (Argentina), Blind River (New Zealand), Erbes and Dr Thanish (Germany), Adam (Alsace), Carmelo Rodero, Pazo San Mauro, Altos de Nunez, Costers de Priorat and Castejon (Spain); Cousino Macul (Chile). Calling on Break-Thru Beverage, Empire Dist., and Best Brands.

In 2006, he joined the Bronco Wine Company and managed 7 states (FL, GA, SC, NC, AL, MS, TN). The brands included Forest Glen, Crane Lake, Charles Shaw (California), Down Under (Australia), Codorniu, Scala Dei, and Bodegas Bilbainas (Spain). Calling on RNDC and SGWS

In 2009, he joined Ladera Vineyards, Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, CA running the Eastern half of the US with 25 states calling on Winebow, SGWS, and Ruby.

In 2017, he joined the Charles Krug Winery (Peter Mondavi Sr). Brands include Charles Krug, CK Mondavi, French Blue and Valdo Prosecco from Italy. Calling on SGWS.

And now most recently, June 2026, he has joined Kysela Père et Fils to manage the state of Florida.
