Bodega Alanis
Spain - Galicia

Founded in 1910, Bodega Alanís has been creating unique and extraordinary wines from the Ribeiro Denomination of Origin for over 100 years. The secret of its long years of good work: a careful selection of the grapes at origin, promoting native varieties, such as Treixadura and Torrontés, and a refined production process fusing tradition and technological avant-garde.

The vineyards are located in an area where two different climate characteristics converge : atlantic climate, due to the short distance to the coastal areas and the connection with them through the Miño, Arnoia and Avia rivers that bathe the farmland of the vineyards and the continental climate characterized by a significant thermal difference between day and night, which favors slow maturation while respecting the aromatic component and natural freshness typical of our ribeiros.

In recent years, Bodega Alanís has undertaken a major investment on new and modern facilities for the winery, with a capacity of up to 2.5 million litres, making it one of the largest wineries in the area.

The close work with local winegrowers and the scarce mechanization of the land contribute to the preservation of the wine-growing tradition of the area, as well as to the control of the grape from the vineyard to the winemaking.
