Garnet red in the glass. The nose is full of red cherry, raspberry, and black currant, backed by rose pedal, cinnamon, clove, porcini, toasted vanilla, rosemary blossom and thyme. Ripe strawberry, sour cherry, and damson plum, give way to an airy, and velvety texture reigned in by a firm acidic backbone. The long finish is full of floral character, backed by sweet earth and loads more spice.

Fullerton Tenebris Pinot Noir
"A barrel selection of the best of vintage, this has impressive concentration at its core. The nose has cedary oak and spice across ripe dark cherries and blueberries. There’s a lot of depth to the palate, fresh ripe red and dark cherries abound here. 120 dozen made. Fine now, but better from 2025."

"The 2018 ‘Tenebris’ is a barrel selection wine that utilizes clonal selections 113, 114, 667, 777, Pommard and Wadenswil. This is quite simply a gorgeous effort that really needs an hour of air to show its stuff. Once aroused this yields a gorgeous array of bright red fruits with blood orange zest, summer sausage and peat moss aromas that brilliantly combine. The weight and richness of the wine is apparent, as linzer torte notes mingle well with smoky minerals, damp earth and orange blossom flavors. Fresh and full-bodied, this excellent effort will live on for another fifteen years to come. Drink 2022-2037"
