2018 Luis Canas Rioja Crianza - 93 PTS - WE

wine enthusiast 93 pts

"This deeply hued wine offers a bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, espresso bean and clove. There is a soft savory note of dried Mediterranean herbs alongside Chambord, cherry, baking-spice and ground-coffee flavors. Vigorous tannins coat the tongue and gums and drift away into a spicy finish. - Mike DeSimone

2021 Luis Canas Rioja Crianza - 91 PTS - JD

jeb dunnuck logo 250"Juicy Bing cherries, peppery herbs, leather, and cedarwood notes all emerge from the 2021 Rioja Crianza, a medium-bodied, concentrated, round, layered red that has supple tannins, beautiful fruit, and a great finish. This classic Rioja has tons to love."

2021 Luis Canas Rioja Crianza - 93 PTS - DECANTER

decanter logo 250"Floral notes and red berry fruit combine on the nose, leading to a lifted and somewhat chalky palate. Tannins are present but soft and supportive, providing the framing for the wine. It is an elegant and pretty crianza with lots of personality and a fresh interpretation of traditional Rioja. It is also a great representation of the fresh 2021 vintage. - Beth WILLARD"
