"Darker cherries, savory herbs, herbes de Provence, leather, and some pepper all emerge from the 2023 Rasteau Les Valats. Medium-bodied, juicy, and nicely textured, with ripe tannins, it's enjoyable and well-made. Based on 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, aged a year in vats, it will drink well for 10-12 years."
