"From small yields and a blend of 55% Syrah and 45% Grenache, the 2020 Grande Cuvée Corbières is similarly deeply hued yet has a deeper, richer, more powerful style in its ripe black cherry and darker berry fruits, chocolate, peppery garrigue, and savory herb-driven aromas and flavors. It's medium to full-bodied and has a balanced, layered, opulent mouthfeel and a great finish. It's certainly a bigger, richer wine than the classic cuvée, but I love both for different reasons."

"The Grand Cuvée Corbières is a savory wine and dark fruited. It displays a hint of toasted oak and leather on the nose. On the palate is shows good depth, firm tannins and excellent structure. An approximate 50/50 blend (the precise blend varies by vintage) of Grenache and Syrah aged 10+ months in 25% new barriques. - Don WINKLER"
"(55% Syrah and 45% Grenache) Different style to La Pompadour. No maceration carbonique here, all de-stemmed and aged in barriques 225l, 25% new for one year. More intense black cherry, strawberry and kirsch notes with some wild herbs from surrounding garrigue. Serious structure with firmer tannins, high acidity and a long, mineral finish."
"Black plum and blackberry aromas meet with nutmeg and clove on the nose of this bottling. Suave tannins line the sip, where more close, licorice and baked black plum flavors align. — Matt KETTMANN"
