Sourced from Meursault area. Pineapple and apricot aromas on the nose. Vanilla, sweet and long flavors of pineapple, white peach and minerals. Warm and rich, good acidity and excellent balance. Very nice wine.
Seafood, fish, salad or by itself as an aperitif.
"Readers looking for a terrific white Burgundy that won't break the bank will love the 2023 Bourgogne Blanc Les Saussots, a juicy, citrus, mineral-infused Bourgogne Blanc that has plenty of fruit, integrated acidity, and a reasonable finish. It's well worth seeking out and will scratch that white Burg itch. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years. Drink 2025-2029."

"The 2020 Bourgogne Les Saussots has a well-defined bouquet with apple blossom and light limestone aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, plenty of energy and poise with a citrus-fresh, lime-tinged finish. Another excellent Bourgogne Blanc. - Neal Martin"

"The 2019 Bourgogne Les Saussots comes from vines in Meursault just under Volnay Santenots. It has a generous, expressive bouquet featuring honeysuckle, white peach and light waxy aromas. The palate is well balanced and crisp, demonstrating a little more weight than the Les Femelottes and offering more spiciness toward the finish, betraying its Meursault roots. This is fantastic Bourgogne Blanc that comes highly recommended. - Neal Martin"
