The name "L'Irreductible" means someone that will never give up, almost stubborn.
Intense fruity aromas of red berries, raspberry, spicy and herbal notes. A superb mouthfeel, with an excellent acidity and structure that give the wine a long and balanced finish.
It traditionally pairs well with fish, seafood, white meat and provencal dishes, such as Bouillabaisse (fish soup). It is also excellent with cheese and "international cuisine", spicy Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese cuisine.
Also try it with lobster ... pleasure guaranteed.
"This rosé of Mourvèdre is still young and certainly ageworthy, showing structure and concentration. Rich raspberry fruits have spice as well as acidity, along with a textured edge that will soften as the wine matures. Drink from 2021. - Roger VOSS"

"This is a rosé for aging. It offers ripe spice and hints of tannin from the Mourvèdre and acidity that lies behind the tangy red-berry fruits. The sense of structure is there as well, reinforcing the fact the wine needs time. Drink from 2021. - Roger VOSS"

"Light red. Herbal nuances on the nose complemented by red berries. This is a big, mouth filling wine with spicy, herbal, pomegranate and raspberry flavors. It has excellent depth and a long finish. A blend of 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Grenache, 20% Cinsault. Give this wine a year or two in bottle, and it'll be even better."

"Deeper ruby colored (it’s almost Tavel-like), the 2017 Bandol L’lrreductible Rosé offers more cherry blossom, flowers, and crushed rock notes and displays medium body, bright acidity, and terrific purity. Made from 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Grenache, it’s another outstanding rosé from this estate that’s going to shine on the dinner table."

"Darker in color than most Provence rosés, this impressive wine is made almost entirely of Mourvèdre. With a rich, full character, it is generous and ripe. Sweet strawberry fruits are right up front, balanced with a touch of citrus and freshly ground pepper. The aftertaste is tight and spicy."

Go To Begude Bandol Rose L'Irreductible
"Although this is labeled as Vin de France, its fruit comes from the La Bégude estate in Bandol. With one year's aging, it is full, soft and ripe with generous strawberry flavors. Dark in color, it may not follow the trend in Provence for pale rosés and its taste is rich and full bodied. The acidity at the end gives the necessary freshness."
