Candy Babee Pink Riesling
Chateau Diana
United States - California - Central Coast

The Candy Babee has become Pink! It is a whimsical take on a seriously good Riesling. The light-skinned Riesling grapes for this wine came exclusively from Mendocino County: a North Coast viticultural area located due North of Sonoma County.

The Candy Babee Pink Riesling is quite aromatic with floral and citrus fruits bursting with honeysuckle, bright orange and tangerine. Containing a well-balanced acidity that freshens the palate with crisp green apples, juicy Meyer lemon and pink grapefruit. The residual sugar aspect is tantalizing in its sweetness, yet light and elegant in its caramel flavors. The decadent flavors are also are indicative of stone fruits such as pears, apricots, and super-ripe peaches. The finish is long and enhanced with a squirt of ripe limes at the very end.
