Denis Carré and his wife founded the estate in 1975 in the village of Meloisey, in the Hautes Cotes de Beaune.
Their children Martial and Gaetane took over the estate in 2008. Martial is the winemaker. He studied at the Lycee Viticole in Beaune.

Winemaker: Martial Carré. Born in 1988, Martial has been raised around the Family's winery. He and his sister Gaetane have been working at the Estate for the last 10 years. Martial also studied at the Lycee Viticole in Beaune.
The vineyard spreads over 13 hectares that are located on the most famous hillsides in Burgundy. Over the years, Denis Carré has acquired parcels on different terroirs that he knows perfectly. The construction of a tank room and an aging cellar provided the space needed to expand the estate.
The vineyard is planted with 10 hectares Pinot Noir and 3 hectares Chardonnay.
They own vineyards in the following locations : Bourgogne Blanc, Meursault Vieilles Vignes, Meursault Les Tillets, Bourgogne Rouge, Hautes Cotes de Beaune red La Perrière, Pommard Les Noizons, Beaune 1er Cru Les Tuvilains and Savigny les Beaune.
The oldest vines are 70 years old. The youngest are 2 years old and not producing grapes used for the wines yet.
