2015 Chateau des Landes Grand Heritage Lussac Saint Emilion - 93 PTS - JD

jeb dunnuck logo 250"More upfront and showy, the 2015 Chateau des Landes Grand Heritage (100% old vine Merlot aged in new French oak) boasts a big, blockbuster nose of spiced black fruits, new saddle leather, and dried herbs to go with a full-bodied, powerful, sexy style on the palate. With ripe tannins and tons of character, drink it any time over the coming 10-15 years."

2016 Chateau des Landes Grand Heritage Lussac Saint Emilion - 90+ PTS - JD

jeb dunnuck logo 250"The flagship cuvée is the 2016 Chateau des Landes Grand Heritage, which is all Merlot from older vines that spent 16 months in new oak. It’s more backward and tight at the moment, yet has classic black fruits, charcoal, and graphite notes, with plenty of oak. I like its mid-palate, and it’s nicely concentrated, yet the cellar will be your friend on this one. Give bottles 2-4 years and it should keep for more than a decade."
