Brilliant ruby. Exotic scents of dark berry compote, incense and potpourri, with a vanilla note in the background. Lively and precise in the mouth, but with a velvety quality to its sweet black raspberry and cherry flavors. Finishes on a sappy note, with excellent clarity, round tannins and very good persistence. I find this sexy wine very approachable now but it has the depth to age. - Josh Raynolds

"Deep garnet to the eye, this wine has a nose of black cherry, cocoa powder and aniseed. A sense of fruit brightness permeates the palate alongside blackberry preserve, orange zest, clove, violet and milk chocolate flavors.
