"From the South Atlantic, this iconic grape of Uruguay shows itself here as tarry and chalky, with blue sage and black plum on its shadowed, haunting frame. It tames out at mid-palate, revealing brown sugar, cedar, and boysenberry. Aged nine months in French and American oak, Tannat is considered the “healthiest” grape due to much higher levels of antioxidants."
