"Made from vines under 50 years old, the 2023 Preludio comes from Ribera del Duero and was vinified and aged in 600-liter barrels. Vibrant already in color, it opens with remarkably clear red fruit, while oak remains secondary behind blood orange and delicate floral notes. The palate is dry, with unusually high acidity for Ribera; it gains energy through a juicy and vibrant flow. The tannins are fine, reactive and flexible at once, giving shape without hardening the wine. An interesting case of early harvesting in a warm year, handled with real precision. - Joaquin HIDALGO"
