"100% Semillon – 75% of the must is fermented in stainless-steel tanks, and 25% of the must in new French oak where it remains for 6 months. Deep gold green color. Very good waxy mineral-steel and ripe tree fruit nose/flavors. Good length. Richness with some phenolic density. Hint of sweet vanilla adds focus and gives more complexity. Now-2029. - Joe BUTLER MW"

"Medium yellow with green flecks. Ripe melon and stone fruit flavors. Concentrated and full in the mouth with a viscous mouth feel. Very good and very good value. 100% Semillon, 75% fermented in stainless steel and 25% in new French oak for 6 months. Imperial Stag was founded in 2010 including a 2400’ high vineyard near San Rafael in the Argentine province of Mendoza. The Semillon vines are 25-30 years old."
