2012 Senorio de Sarria Rosado Vinedo N°5 - 90 PTS - WA

Wine Advocate 90 Pts"One of the finest roses I have tasted this year, the 2012 Vinedo No. 5, made from 100% old Grenache vines from a single vineyard, is loaded with character. It is an expressive, medium-bodied, light salmon/pink-colored, dry rose with flamboyant, jammy strawberry and raspberry characteristics. A beautiful texture as well as a long finish result in a terrific rose. Readers may be interested to know it was chosen as the best Spanish rose in a competition held by 500 sommeliers. Drink it over the next year. "

2012 Senorio de Sarria Rosado Vinedo N°5 - BEST WINE - La Nariz de Oro 2013

"Señorio de Sarría Viñedo Nº 5 has been selected as the best Wine in the rosé category. It is a "high expression" wine made only with the variety Garnacha, harvested by hand in plot "nº5" in the winery’s own estate vineyards. The Señorío de Sarría estate is located in Puente La Reina, at the heart of the Pilgrims´ Way to Santiago. After a rigorous grape selection from the bush vines that are more than 50 years old, the must is extracted by the traditional vat bleeding method, resulting in a wine of intense strawberry red colour, and red fruit aromas (strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant). It is fresh, fruity, and tasty on the palate with volume and a long finish. "

Voted "BEST WINE" in the ROSE category during the "La Nariz de Oro 2013" competition by more than 500 sommeliers from all around Spain.

2013 Senorio de Sarria Vinedo No5 Rosado Navarra - 89 PTS - IWC

tanzer iwc 89 pts"Dark, lurid pink. Dried cherry and raspberry aromas show very good depth and hints of white pepper and candied rose. Almost red wine-like in heft but energized by zesty mineral and spice nuances that add bite and lift. Closes with very good cling and breadth, leaving a juicy red berry note behind. That's one serious name there, too."
