2011 Château de Ségriès Lirac Rouge - WA 90+ PTS

wa90"The 2011 Lirac Cuvee Reservee (50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and the rest Cinsault, Mourvedre and Carignan) offers dense, ripe, black currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with licorice, forest floor and underbrush. This spicy, fleshy, succulent red possesses both structure and depth. Consume this impressive Lirac over the next 3-4 years."

2013 Château de Ségriès Lirac Rouge - 90 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo 250"Dark ruby. Ripe boysenberry, cherry and floral pastille scents are given a spicy touch by a suggestion of white pepper. Fleshy and broad on entry, offering bitter cherry and blue fruit flavors that become more taut with air. Plenty rich, but there's good tension here as well. Closes smoky, spicy and long, with an echo of candied flowers and smooth tannins lending grip. - Josh Raynolds"

2013 Château de Ségriès Lirac Rouge - 90 PTS - WA

wa90"The 2013 Lirac is also impressive. Made from 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Cinsault and 10% Mourvèdre, destemmed and aged all in cement tanks, it has rockin' Provencal character in its garrigue, black cherry, black raspberry and peppery spice aromas and flavors. These give way to a medium-bodied, elegant, balanced Lirac that has fine tannin, good freshness and elegance, and a beautiful finish. It will have 5-8 years of prime drinking. - Jeb Dunnuck"

2015 Château de Ségriès Lirac Rouge Cuvee Reservee - 89 PTS - WA

wa89"The medium to full-bodied 2015 Lirac Cuvee Reservee (that's the American label, elsewhere it's just labeled Lirac) shows a more evolved, rustic character than the 2016. It’s leathery and plummy, still with lovely spice notes, but already drying out a bit on the palate. Drink it over the next year or two. - Joe Czerwinski"
