"The 2016 Lirac is flat-out outstanding. It gives up a deep purple color as well as terrific notes of red plums, ripe cherries, melted licorice, and candied violets. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, with fine tannin and an elegant, yet sexy style, it’s a no-brainer purchase to enjoy over the coming the 4-5 years."

"The cement-aged 2018 Lirac Cuvee Reservee is 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% each Carignan and Cinsault (the identical proportions as used in this estate's Côtes du Rhône). Slightly deeper, darker and richer, it's still a very approachable effort, loaded with black cherries and some resinous herbal notes. Medium to full-bodied, with a soft, velvety mouthfeel and a plush finish, it's a delicious wine to drink over the near term.- Joe Czerwinski"
"A spicy boysenberry, peppery liqueur-like nose. Soft on the attack with layers of juicy flavors followed by a long finish with dry tannins. The standout Lirac in the portfolio. - Don WINKLER"
