"Catherine and Michel Lydoire purchased this 30-acre vineyard in 1998, the vines planted on the clay-limestone slope that reaches from St-Emilion to Castillon. Their 2014 is a great bistro wine, its taut structure carrying strawberry-red fruit and rose scents. Bright and pretty, gracious and firm, this is a wine to drink in the fall with steak frites."
