"Based on 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre from pebbly and sandy soils, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Le Miocène is the classic cuvée at this impeccably run estate. It has tons of Provençal charm in its peppery red and black fruits, incense, dried herbs, and orange blossom aromatics. Aged 14 months in concrete and older barrels, it's medium-bodied, concentrated, and nicely balanced on the palate. Drink bottles anytime over the coming 10-12 years. You could do much worse than a case of this in the cellar. Drink 2026-2038."
