2011 Reserve Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône Blanc - 88 PTS + BEST BUY - BD

Wine Advocate 88 Pts"The 2011 Cotes du Rhone Blanc Reserve, which is a blend of 50% Roussanne, 40% Viognier and 10% Clairette aged in tank, is just delicious. Elegant floral notes are followed by hints of white peach, apricot jam and honeysuckle. Crisp, fresh, medium-bodied and very lively, it even displays a hint of minerality, which gives zestiness and vibrancy to this wine."

2012 Reserve Grand Veneur Côtes du Rhône Blanc - 90 PTS + Best Buy - WA

Wine Advocate 90 Pts"The outstanding Grand Veneur 2012 Cotes du Rhone Blanc Reserve (a blend of 50% Roussanne, 40% Viognier and 10% Clairette) may be the highest-quality dry white Rhone made at this price point. Abundant white peach, honeysuckle and spring flower aromas intermixed with a hint of apricot marmalade jump from the glass of this lovely, medium-bodied, crisp, fresh, pure yet intense and perfumed white wine. Drink it over the next year."

2013 Domaine Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Blanc Reserve - 87 pts - WA

wa300"A great intro into the whites of this region, the value priced 2013 Côtes du Rhône Reserve Blanc (50% Roussanne, 40% Viognier, 10% Clairette aged all in stainless steel) gives up ample white peach and lemon-laced stone fruits, medium-bodied richness and juicy, vibrant acidity that shines on the finish. It's a seriously quaffable white to drink over the coming year or so. - Jeb Dunnuck"

2013 Domaine Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Blanc Reserve - 87 PTS - WA - RP

wa300"One of my favorite estates in Châteauneuf du Pape (an area now being brilliantly covered by my colleague Jeb Dunnuck), Domaine Grand Veneur is internationally recognized for their fabulous Châteauneuf du Papes, but they also produce some terrific values. The estate wines are sold under the Grand Veneur label, but they have also started a négociant business under the name Alain Jaume. Those wines have been very promising as well.
Under the Grand Veneur label, the 2013 Côtes du Rhône Blanc Réserve is composed of 50% Roussanne, 40% Viognier and 10% Clairette. This cuvée never sees any oak. The 2013 exhibits lots of flowery (rose petals) notes intermixed with hints of caramelized melon, white peach and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied, crisp, dry and refreshing, it should drink well for 1-2 years. - Robert Parker"

2014 Domaine Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Blanc Reserve - 88 PTS - WINE VALUE - WA

wa88"Dealing with more challenging vintages, such as 2013 and 2014, couldn't have been easy, but they have succeeded. The 2014 Côtes du Rhône Blanc Reserve, a blend of 40% Viognier, 50% Roussanne and 10% Clairette, is a real steal. Loads of white currant, quince, almond paste, white peach and pineapple are all present in this flowery, medium-bodied deliciously dry and crisp wine. Drink it over the next year."
