2013 Domaine de la Mordoree Lirac la Dame Rousse - 90-92 pts - WA

wa300"A fabulous 2013 Lirac La Dame Rousse knocks it out of the park with its raspberry jam, blackberry, licorice, pepper and crushed-flower scented bouquet. Made from a blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah and aged all in stainless steel, it has medium to full-bodied richness, plenty of mid-palate and a fruit-filled finish. It will represent a superb value and should drink nicely for 3-5 years. - Jeb Dunnuck"

2015 Domaine de la Mordoree Lirac la Dame Rousse - 90-92 pts - WA

wa300"Moving to the reds from Lirac, the estate releases two cuvées: the base la Dame Rousse and the flagship La Reine des Bois. The 2015 Lirac la Dame Rousse is a top effort from this appellation that has classic, mineral-laced aromas and flavors of blackberries, mulberries, crushed rocks, graphite and peppery herbs. Rich, full-bodied and concentrated, it has lively acidity, notable tannic grip and plenty of length on the finish, all suggesting it will evolve nicely. - Jeb Dunnuck"
