2015 Corinne Perchaud Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin - 90 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"(done entirely in cuve): Pale yellow. Very pure, classic Chablis scents of lemon, lime, powdered stone and white pepper. Quite refined in its texture and more easygoing than the Fourneaux, offering flavors of candied citrus peel and lemon thyme. Perhaps a bit less mineral-driven than the Fourneaux, but entices with its sucrosité. Mounts slowly and steadily on the finish. Grossot made about 45 hectoliters per hectare from this vineyard in 2015, vs. just 11 in '16. - Stephen Tanzer"

2018 Corinne Perchaud Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin - 92 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"The 2018 Chablis Vaucoupins 1er Cru shows some reduction on the nose that seems to dissipate with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a citric entry, hints of orange zest and lime leading to a spicy, persistent finish. This is another fine Chablis from Grossot. - Neal Martin"
