"There is a touch of apricot tart on the nose, with notes of juicy baked fruit and buttery crust. A tarter aspect comes from green apple. The palate is fresh and wraps the lively, cleanly delineated fruit into gentle pastry aromas. The body is elegant, the finish is dry and fresh and brings out more of that wonderful apple tartness. "Made the traditional method, this 90/10 blend of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois from the Alsace with a minimum of 12 months on the lees. Showing apple and shortbread on the nose, this Crémant has a lovely creamy, textured mouth feel and firm acidity that combine to offer unusual drinking pleasure in a wine of this price. If you’re trying to decide whether to buy a Prosecco or spend a few more dollars for this wine, I’d say go for it!"
