"As to the red, the 2016 Côtes du Rhône comes from 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and 10% Carignan and was brought up all in tank. It offers notes of sour cherries, violets, lavender, and peppered meat in a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, balanced style. It has plenty of fruit, good character, and is ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years."
