2012 AP Vin Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir - 92-94 PTS - WA

wa300"Looking at the 2012 Pinot Noirs from barrel, they appear to be a step up from the 2011s (which are no slouches). The lightest of the trio, with gorgeous purity of fruit and a seamless texture, the 2012 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard has great aromatics, medium-bodied richness and thrilling purity and detail on the finish. Most likely surpassing the 2011, it's a beautiful Pinot Noir that should have a decade of longevity. Drink 2015-2022. - Jeb Dunnuck"

2012 AP Vin Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir - 93 PTS - WA

wa93"A smoking effort, the 2012 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard gives up rich, savory notes of kirsch and black cherry fruit, dried earth and spice in its medium-bodied, textured, sexy personality. While it certainly shows the vintages forward, upfront nature, it has beautifully integrated acidity, ripe tannin and a terrific finish. In short, it's a fantastic Pinot Noir to drink over the coming 4-5 years. The young and talented Andrew Vingiello continues to make superb single vineyard Pinot Noirs under his AP Vin label. Described as a "post card" vintage by Andrew, these 2012s showed beautifully from barrel, and were all outstanding from bottle. - Jeb Dunnuck"

2013 AP Vin Rosella's Vineyard Pinot Noir - 92-95 PTS - WA

wa300"Tasted out of barrel, the 2013 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard looks to be the most impressive of the 2013s. Showing medium to full-bodied richness, sweet tannin and good concentration, with solid dark fruits, ground herbs, licorice and even hints of meatiness, it builds nicely in the glass and has tons of potential. It should drink nicely on release and have 8-10 years of overall longevity. The young and talented Andrew Vingiello continues to make superb single vineyard Pinot Noirs under his AP Vin label. Described as a "post card" vintage by Andrew, these 2012s showed beautifully from barrel, and were all outstanding from bottle. - Jeb Dunnuck"

wa93"Giving up lots of Bing cherry, tropical fruits and crushed violet characteristics, winemaker Andrew Vingiello’s 2013 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard is medium-bodied, elegant, and finesse-driven with more purity and freshness than the Garys’ Vineyard release, yet still concentrated and textured. Coming from Pisoni, 777 and 115 clones, completely destemmed and aged in 50% new French oak, drink this silky, pure and beautifully balanced Pinot Noir anytime over the coming 5-6 years. - Jeb Dunnuck"
