"A smoking effort, the 2012 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard gives up rich, savory notes of kirsch and black cherry fruit, dried earth and spice in its medium-bodied, textured, sexy personality. While it certainly shows the vintages forward, upfront nature, it has beautifully integrated acidity, ripe tannin and a terrific finish. In short, it's a fantastic Pinot Noir to drink over the coming 4-5 years. The young and talented Andrew Vingiello continues to make superb single vineyard Pinot Noirs under his AP Vin label. Described as a "post card" vintage by Andrew, these 2012s showed beautifully from barrel, and were all outstanding from bottle. - Jeb Dunnuck"
