"Another impeccable wine, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Vieux Terron shares Le Miocène's 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre blend but comes from pebbly and red sandstone soils. It offers black raspberries, blackberries, peppery garrigue, and assorted Provençal spices on the nose. Aged mostly in concrete for 16 months, with a portion in older barrels, it's medium-bodied and balanced on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel and ripe tannins.
