"(14.5% alcohol): Slightly dull dark red. Pungent aromas of redcurrant, plum, licorice, tomato leaf, green pepper and herbs. Offers a fine-grained texture but less sweetness than the 2016 Cabernet Franc, showing more of the vintage's greenness and lacking the lift of the Cab Franc. Delivers good texture but doesn't quite come alive. Finishes with rather easygoing tannins. - Stephen Tanzer"
