"The 2016 Eden Trail Eden Valley Riesling by Thorn-Clarke begins with a very pleasant bouquet chock full of wonderful floral aromas, citrus, lime and green apple plus a hint of a nutty note. The wine tastes of citrus and lime-soaked rocks along with plenty of tart acidity and mouth-watering green apple. This is quite simply a lovely, dry and mineral-based Riesling, not the super sweet stuff you find at the supermarket. With great balance and plenty of complexity, this one should also have the ability to age nicely for a few years. It ends dry and very long with all the flavors from the palate lingering for an almost impossibly long time in the mouth. Exquisite!"
