2013 Morambro Creek Cabernet Sauvignon - 91 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo 250"(35% new French oak barriques): Opaque ruby. Ripe cherry and cassis aromas are complemented by notes of licorice, candied flowers and cured tobacco. Offers an array of black and blue fruit flavors that are lifted and sharpened by juicy acidity and a smoky mineral quality. Finishes on a sweet note of vanilla, with very good energy, building tannins and lingering smokiness. - Josh Raynolds"

2016 Morambro Creek Cabernet Sauvignon - 90 PTS - WE

wine enthusiast 90 pts"From the small Padthaway region three hours' drive east of Adelaide, this is a full-bodied Cab that, despite the region's warm climate, avoids being bombastic. The nose feels Christmasy: baking spices laced with purple beets, dried mint and red berries. In the mouth it's ripe and generous, and there's a fair bit of oak showing but all is held at bay by taut, fine-grained tannins. Drink through 2025."

2019 Morambro Creek Cabernet Sauvignon - 88 PTS - SILVER - BTI

bti"Black garnet color. Spicy aromas and flavors of cinnamon pastry, black plum, cassis pie, eucalyptus, candied fennel, and black tea with a slightly chewy, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tingling, charming, medium-long finish evoking nuances of cafe au lait with moderate oak flavor. A flavorful, spicy Aussie Cabernet that delivers!"
