2016 Croix Senaillet Pouilly Fuissé - 89 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"(made from three parcels from different terroirs; vinified partly in piècesand demi-muids from one to five years of age): Bright yellow. Sexy spicy oak lifts the aromas of soft citrus zest and clove; shows more of a yellow-fruit ripeness than the 2016 Saint-Véran bottlings. Nicely concentrated, generous Pouilly-Fuissé with good spicy cut and acid spine. Offers a good combination of depth and energy, not to mention subtle complexity. Finishes spicy and persistent, but give this wine until next summer to harmonize more fully. The yield here was barely 30 hectoliters per hectare in 2016, according to Richard Martin. - Stephen Tanzer"

wine enthusiast 91 pts"This taut, mineral-textured wine is full of crisp fruit and lively acidity. Rich white fruits go along with its texture, balancing the two elements. Drink from 2020. - ROGER VOSS”

2018 Croix Senaillet Pouilly Fuissé - 92 PTS - WE

wine enthusiast 92 pts"A chamomile lift joins lemon notes on the juicy Mirabelle plum nose on this wine. The palate adds lively and aromatic notes of greengage and almond. All this aromatic intensity takes place against a backdrop of chalky texture framed with brightness and freshness. A wonderful achievement for 2018, the wine has poise, concentration, texture and elegance. - Anne KREBIEHL MW"
