2014 Manoir du Carra Beaujolais Cru Fleurie - 89 PTS - WA

wa89"The 2014 Fleurie undergoes 11-day skin maceration, 50% of the grapes de-stemmed and 80% aged on foudre. It has quite a "punchy" nose with macerated small red cherries and blueberry, mixed with light ash scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, ripe tannin and well-judged acidity. I like the harmony here, stylistically equidistant between traditional and modern Beaujolais, pulled off with some style. Neal Martin "

2015 Manoir du Carra Beaujolais Cru Fleurie - 91 PTS - VINOUS

vinous logo"Bright ruby. Ripe and energetic on the nose, showing excellent clarity and lift to the ripe raspberry, cherry and floral pastille scents. Palate-staining red and blue fruit and lavender flavors are sharpened by suggestions of smoky minerals and white pepper. Smoothly plays richness off vivacity and finishes long and vibrant, leaving a sweet black raspberry note behind. - Josh Raynolds"

2018 Manoir du Carra Beaujolais Cru Fleurie - 92 PTS - WE

wine enthusiast 92 pts"This single vineyard with vines up to 50 years old has produced a solid, dark and structured wine. Ripe fruits give the wine weight and juicy acidity, both of which will allow it to age. Drink from 2021. - Roger Voss"
