"Called after a former name for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, this wine is well balanced between ripe fruit and crisper herbal flavors. A strong minerality gives the wine its youthful texture. Crisp at the end, it is still full and concentrated. Drink from 2017."

"Tart citrus, earth, honey, and a touch of flinty minerality emerge from the 2017 Pouilly-Fume Genetin, which is all Sauvignon Blanc raised in stainless steel. It’s surprisingly rich and textured on the palate, with some serious oomph, yet has bright acidity and a clean finish. It’s an interesting wine that’s going to do well on the dinner table. I suspect it will be better in another 6-12 months and should keep for 3-4 years."
"This 37-acre estate managed by Annick Tinel-Blondelet has produced a juicy wine with open white fruits and good acidity. Called after the original name for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, it has great fruitiness, a taut texture and is ready to drink. - Roger Voss"
"Grown on limestone soil, this perfumed, citrus-flavored wine will be very attractive. As it softens and the initial shock of acidity dissipates, the wine will develop peach and apple flavors, always keeping its mineral edge. Drink from 2022. - Roger Voss"
